Social Enterprise

Social Enterprises at the Glen Innes Family Centre:

At Glen Innes Family Centre, we operate two social enterprises within our charitable trust framework. This setup allows us to pursue revenue-generating activities while fulfilling our social mission. Here are some key points about how we integrate social enterprises into our charitable trust:

01

Our Structure & Purpose:

To maintain our status as a registered charity, our trust has exclusively charitable purposes, benefits the public, and does not provide private benefits to individuals or groups. Profits generated by our social enterprises are reinvested into our charitable activities in their entirety.

02

Our Governance:

The trustees of our charitable trust oversee the social enterprises, ensuring they operate in a way that supports our mission and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.

03

Sustainability:

Operating social enterprises provides a sustainable source of funding, reducing our reliance on grants and donations. This enhances our ability to achieve our social goals.

This structure allows us to effectively combine our revenue-generating activities with our commitment to social good, ensuring a sustainable future for our charitable initiatives.

04

Legal Structure:

Our charitable trust operates social enterprises that align with our charitable purposes.
